Whether you come via direct access or referred from a Physician, on your first day, you will sit down with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. The PT will gather a history of your ailment/injury and perform a physical examination to determine the cause of your pain or dysfunction. You will leave with a Home Exercise Plan (HEP) after that first visit. When you return for your first follow up and every returning visit, you will be taken through a customized exercise plan. Finally, a hands-on portion 1 on 1 with the PT is performed to work on those areas identified in the first visit.
What is Direct Access?
Direct access lets that patient come see a Physical Therapy FIRST, without any referral or prescription, which is covered by insurance. The PT will determine whether physical therapy is appropriate for you. If not, they will then refer you to the right department for proper medical care. Activate PT has a large network of Physicians in their network and can then get you seen much faster than if you called for an appointment yourself.
Do you take insurance?
We participate with almost all insurances. Upon registering you, the receptionist will take your information and have an explanation of your benefits for physical therapy before you even arrive.
What if I want to pay cash?
Activate PT does take cash-pay patients. We also offer monthly memberships in some cases for injury and decline prevention. Meaning once PT is over, you can keep what you’ve gained in the office with us under our supervision with a custom exercise and manual therapy program.
Do you have parking facilities?
Yes.
Free Parking is available in front of the building.
